As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team.
*Position Overview:*
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and contribute to the overall financial stability of Sterling Construction and Roofing LLC.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
*Responsibilities:*
* *Payroll Processing:* Process payroll and ensure timely and accurate payment of employees.
* *Invoicing:* Generate and send invoices to clients, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
* *Expense Tracking:* Monitor and track company expenses, verifying receipts and ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
* *Financial Reporting:* Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* *Tax Compliance:* Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
* *Communication:* Collaborate with other departments and management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
*Qualifications:*
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
* Proficiency in accounting software/multiple years of experience with QuickBooks.
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Knowledge of construction industry accounting practices (preferred).
