Remote Position: If local we will want occasional on-site office visits Position Overview: Are you looking for a marketing position where you can be creative, drive initiatives, work independently, and make a difference? Towne needs a creative graphic design, social media and marketing generalist, designer, and influencer who can help attract and retain customers and appropriately portray Towne’s outstanding products, service levels and culture.
Responsibilities Overview: Work closely with Sales leaders and team members to help create and design visually appealing, effective, and unique marketing material for Towne.
Create graphics for internal and external needs: Towne websites, social and online media, print, direct mail or other platforms.
Work with teams to create a regular content flow on social media and other media mechanisms.
Understand how to use a CRM and the importance in the marketing flow.
Produce the creative - high-quality designs that effectively communicate our brand story and resonate with our target audience; utilizing design, scale photos, layout, and artwork as needed using graphics, maps, charts, posters, email campaigns, signs, etc.
Help evaluate the success of campaigns when able; Be able to report successes and areas needing improvement to leaders and others.
Help drive company website updates/corrections/changes to keep current.
Ensure all designs, logo and color usage adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency (when necessary) across all platforms.
Work with Towne’s compliance team to ensure material is compliant.
Closely watch social media sites for customer complaints and escalate to leaders.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Have ability to explain product and service benefits in a way that attracts and retains customers.
Work closely and succinctly with external marketing consultants and firms.
Work closely with the Human Resource team to capture and share our “Best Place to Work Culture” on internet, social media and other platforms.
Active on Towne’s Charity Team and have a focus on Community Outreach.
Have a handle on market research, consumer trends and competitor marketing best practices.
Manage and assist with Trade Shows, Sales Meetings or other Company events.
Willing to handle things that are critical to our culture like, managing online customer Sales surveys, announcing new hires on social media, coordinating photo/headshots, assist with photography at Towne events, coordinate business cards, assist with handling promotional items, managing invoices, etc.
Handle responsibilities as requested by your leader and other teams.

Requirements Overview: Bachelor’s degree or working towards a degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years’ experience in marketing, with a preference for experience in the Wholesale (TPO) Mortgage, Retail Mortgage, Finance, Banking, or related industry; Experience with Sales Teams preferred.
Experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience utilizing MS Office products (Powerpoint), photo downloading and editing, audio and video capture tools to develop sales presentations and packages, and other visual material.
Experience with all forms of social media and ideally search engine optimization (SEO); have analytic thinking skills.
Strong communication and exceptional writing skills.
Ability to present to groups as needed.
Experience writing mortgage and financial content is a plus.
Ability to translate information into compelling and persuasive communications, be creative, and understand the best marketing practices.
Ability to balance multiple projects and responsibilities in a fast-paced company.
Have exceptional attention to detail, time management, and team/interpersonal relations skills.
Support day-to-day tasks and other functions as assigned.
Ability to meet regular and reliable attendance.
