I'm looking for someone local to Warren or nearby that'd like to clean a house and prep 3 bedrooms for Airbnb on an as-needed basis.
(Not looking for a cleaning company, but thanks anyway!) It's very similar to how hotels are done, and involves mostly washing and changing bedding, changing codes, stocking amenities provided, dusting, vacuuming and mopping, sometimes deep cleaning the bathroom and kitchen, and sometimes even shoveling and salting the driveway and sidewalk in the winter.
I'm looking for someone that doesn't mind paying extreme attention to detail, especially since dog hair is a big factor in the house and the bedding needs to be lint rolled - one of the most time-consuming tasks.
Every time I flip the entire house, it personally takes me 5-6 hours minimum depending, and if I'm just flipping an individual room it takes me a couple hours, sometimes less.
This can happen up to several times a week, though, but sometimes it's less depending on how long the bookings are.
I may be looking for a needle in a haystack, but I'd like to find someone that has decent availability and is flexible and would be available pretty much on any day of the week as opposed to only being able to work 1-2 days a week for example.
I imagine this setup would be ideal for someone who is retired or not working and could just use extra cash on the side.
I also have opportunities for other various tasks if interested (like yard work/gardening or other handyman projects if so inclined), opportunities for helping with another business of mine, as well as helping at another friend's place if all goes well with the initial cleaning job.
So, there's real potential for 20-30+ hours a week, but you must also be ok with showing up for 2 hour jobs (which is why I think someone local would be best).
Typically for the Airbnb jobs I pay a lump sum and for other jobs I usually pay 15 an hour, more if it's an intense job.
If an Airbnb job requires shoveling, for example, I'd pay hourly on top of the lump sum for the extra work.
I am a generous and fair person, but I consider this price to be fair for an unskilled job and not bad for a cash price.
You either agree to it or you don't.
:) I value reliability, trustworthiness and honesty above all else, which also means that I have no patience for calling off.
If you think it's possible that you won't ever be able to show up for a job, please don't bother applying.
Obviously, things happen in life, but that's not what I mean.
I can be pretty flexible with the schedule if there's enough notice, but there is no room to call off with this particular job, unfortunately.
ID and background check necessary (just name and address).
(Don't care about most drug offenses).
Can't wait to hear from you!
