CDL Truck Driver/Warehouse Associate

*Position Summary* We are immediately seeking a qualified Class B CDL Truck Driver/Warehouse Associate who is highly detailed and enjoys the satisfaction of getting the job done right and on time.
An ideal candidate is a reliable, dependable team player and has experience doing route deliveries in a straight box truck and warehouse experience.
*Responsibilities* · Loading and unloading merchandise with forklifts and pallet jacks.
· Verify loads for accuracy.
· Deliver merchandise to the destination safely and on schedule.
· Perform pre/post-trip inspections.
· Provide excellent customer service to our customers during deliveries.
· Obey and follow applicable traffic laws.
· Maintain ELOG and be in compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
· Report defects, accidents, and violations.
· Communicate and coordinate with dispatch and customers on deliveries.
· Assist the warehouse with any assigned responsibilities after deliveries are completed.
· Operate all equipment necessary for material handling such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other relevant equipment.
· Carry out other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned or required.
*Qualifications* _*Education & Experience*_ · High School Diploma or equivalent degree.
· Knowledge of Customer Service Fundamentals, Over the Road (OTR) Transportation Routing, OSHA, and DOT.
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Commercial Transportation with CDL.
· Minimum of 2 years of warehouse and or fulfillment experience or a similar environment.
_*Other Qualifications*_ · Must have or be able to obtain CDL (Class B) and pass DOT-required physical and related drug tests.
· Able to pass pre-employment screenings that include a drug test, background check, and Motor Vehicle Record.
· Experience driving a forklift is a plus.
· Experience in the flooring industry is a plus.
· Ability to work with details such as vendor item numbers, vendor catalogs, customer lists, phone systems, and ERP software.
· Ability to learn core computer competencies with general operating systems for orders and related functions.
· Legally permitted to work in the United States.
