Display Group is seeking a Driver to join our exciting, growing business! This candidate will work with our dock team to facilitate events throughout the Metro-Detroit area.
The ideal candidate has excellent communication, a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and is looking for the opportunity to grow in their role.
*Role and Responsibilities:*
* Process outgoing rental order by pulling and loading orders accurately and efficiently
* Process returned rental orders by inspecting for defects and damages, reporting any to the warehouse manager
* Organize returning items and rental stock accurately to maintain inventory
* Receive and count stock items, recording the data manually or using a computer
* Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations, keeping the workspace clean of any contaminants or hazards
* Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize operating procedures
*Prerequisites:*
* High School Diploma or GED
* Valid Chauffeur’s License and Medical Examiner’s Certificate required
* Minimum of one (1) year experience driving a box truck
* Reliable transportation
* Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
* Great team attitude
* Willingness to be flexible, work extra hours as needed
* Willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get into the details as a team player with a "get things done" proactive attitude
