BTA Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Delivery Specialist to join our team.
As a White Glove Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional delivery services with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
* Handle the delivery of high-value and delicate items, ensuring they are transported and handled with the highest level of care
* Coordinate with customers to schedule deliveries and confirm specific requirements or preferences
* Inspect items before delivery to ensure they are in pristine condition and meet quality standards
* Safely and efficiently load and unload items from the delivery vehicle, utilizing proper lifting and handling techniques
* Assemble and install items at customer locations, following manufacturer guidelines and ensuring proper functionality
* Provide a white glove experience to customers, demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and exceptional customer service
* Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any concerns or questions they may have during the delivery process
* Maintain accurate delivery records, including signatures, delivery times, and any relevant notes or documentation
* Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate logistics, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless delivery process
* Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
* Prior experience as a White Glove Delivery Specialist or in a similar role preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle fragile and valuable items with care
* Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with customers
* Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy items and perform physical tasks as required (able to assist in carrying up to 250lbs)
* Experience driving 26-foot box trucks
* CDL Preferred but not required
* Ability to follow delivery instructions, installation guidelines, and safety protocols
* Familiarity with using technology such as GPS navigation and delivery tracking systems
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, depending on the situation
* Shift ranges between 8-10 hours in length
