Delivery Driver/Warehouse

Full Job Description *Growing wine distribution company, Woodberry Wine seeks all-star candidates for an opening in our Shipping and Receiving Department as a Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver.
* *Job Summary* * Safely transport wine and materials from wholesale warehouse to state-wide restaurant, retail, and country club business customers.
* Full-time hours may be supplemented with work in the warehouse.
*General Responsibilities* * Filling orders according to specifications.
* Loading up delivery vehicles with outgoing product.
* Unloading trucks of incoming product.
* Inspecting products for required specifications.
* General vehicle maintenance, warehouse maintenance, and cleanliness.
* Operating a pallet jack.
* Operating a forklift.
(Requires authorization) * Building and breaking down pallets of product for various purposes.
* Managing inventory for comprehensive accuracy and organization.
* Working as a team to accomplish objectives.
* Observing safety and security procedures.
* Routing and making deliveries for specific time parameters.
* Confirming accuracy of orders delivered.
* Recording information on a daily route checklist and company invoices.
* Obtaining and securing payments from customers.
* Merchandising product according to specific directions.
* Acting as an ambassador of the company in facilitating transactions and customer service.
*Job Qualifications* * High School Diploma or GED * Fluent in speaking English.
* Excellent Motor Vehicle Record * Ability to pass a criminal background check *Skills: Other* * Some related job experience or training preferred.
* An excellent work ethic, a positive and proactive attitude.
* Knowledge of the product/ a willingness to learn.
* Ability to present oneself as well as the company in a professional manner * Service-oriented personality for customers and colleagues.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* High level attention to detail.

* Ability to deal with changes, delays, and unexpected events.
* Knowledge of Michigan roadways and navigational sense.
*Physical Demands* * Ability to work in all Michigan weather and traffic conditions.
* Must be able to lift 35-50 lbs.

* Must be able to bend, twist, reach, push, and pull.
* Vision requirements: clear vision of near and distant focus, ability to quickly readjust focus.
* Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use stairs, and get in and out of delivery vehicles.
