Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Dean of Students.
As the Dean of Students, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment for our students.
You will oversee various aspects of student life and work closely with faculty, staff, and parents to promote student success and well-being.
Duties: - Provide strategic planning and direction for student affairs programs and services - Supervise and support a team of student affairs professionals - Develop and implement policies and procedures related to student conduct, discipline, and welfare - Manage student organizations, clubs, and activities - Collaborate with academic departments to enhance the overall student experience - Oversee the development and implementation of student support services, including counseling, career services, and health services - Coordinate orientation programs for new students - Collaborate with faculty to address student concerns and promote academic success - Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for student affairs programs - Stay current on trends in higher education administration and implement best practices - Participate in curriculum development initiatives - Teach courses in higher education administration as needed Requirements: - Master's degree in Education Administration or related field (Ph.
D.
preferred) - Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education administration, with a focus on student affairs - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Proven ability to develop strategic plans and implement initiatives - Experience in budgeting and resource allocation - Knowledge of curriculum development principles - Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to student conduct and welfare We offer competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
