Hours may be modified by Principal
Start date: 2023/2024 School Year
Salary: $20,671 - $25,461 in 4 Steps
Qualifications:
* College or Community College coursework preferred.
* Experience working with secondary-aged youth preferred.
* Aptitude or demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining positive relationships with secondary-aged youth.
* Aptitude for learning and using computer-based programs associated with school safety and security.
* Ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, including: Supervise/maintain order in the lunchroom, corridors, lavatories, and detention periods.
* Follow written and oral instructions provided by the administrators.
* Demonstrate positive communication skills with students, staff, parents, and community.
* Willingness to be trained in verbal de-escalation, conflict resolution.
* Work effectively as part of a safety and security team.
* Work with students in small groups or classroom settings.
* Maintain an excellent record of attendance.
* Other duties to promote safety/security and a positive school culture as assigned.
