TITLE: Admissions Officer
REPORTS TO: School Director
POSITION DESCRIPTION
*The Admissions Officer r*esponds to inquiries received by DBI-D via telephone, direct mail, internet and determines the needs of the prospective student and assist them in completing application to the PN program.
The AO’s job is to convert qualified prospective students to qualified enrolled students.
This position requires proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, School Software(populi), school designated CRM software, database software and use of Internet.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*
The job duties of the Admissions Officer will include, but not be limited to:
* Guide qualified applicants to apply
* Take incoming phone calls and make outbound calls based on database of client contacts
* Keep all records of communications in google sheets and or populi as applicable
* Meet prescribed conversion rates and start goals
* Complete required quota of outbound calls daily
* Schedule required quota of appointments daily
* Conduct admissions interviews
* Conduct scheduled follow-up procedures with enrolled and non-enrolled prospects
* Generate required quota of personally developed referrals
* Respond to social network enquiries and direct them to populi
* Create digital content and post on social network related to admissions and other information about school
* Adhere strictly to accrediting agency and U.
S.
Department of Education guidelines
* Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Admissions manual and established by the campus and/or company
* Participate in all orientations & attend all admissions meetings
* Organize and participate in off campus recruit drives to high schools, career fairs etc.
* Maintain clean and professional work area and dress professionally as outlined in Employee manual
* Other duties as assigned
*JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS*
· High School Diploma/GED/Associates degree required or the equivalent of college-level course
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties
· Demonstrate excellent communication skills both written and verbal
· Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, Google workspace, database software, Populi and use of Internet
· Punctual, work
· Responsible, ethical and a team player.
