Preschool Assistant Teacher / Closer (Childcare)

5 to 4 years old!!! For someone looking for part time, this position could start around 2pm, but for someone looking for more hours each week, you could start around 11am.
* *This position would work until we close each night, so the applicants would need to be available until 6:15pm every night.
There is the possibility of this position moving to a full time position in the near future as well.
* Job duties include, but are not limited to: \*Playing with and teaching children in our early preschool classroom (children from 2.
5 to 4 years old).
You would work alongside other staff members during this time - team work is a necessary skill.
\*Communicating effectively with parents through our app and in person.
\*Following developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities.
You would also help complete developmental assessments on children 2 times per year.
\*Maintaining health and safety standards in the classroom at all times.
Some knowledge of state licensing rules is helpful, but not necessary - we can train the right person.
*Eligible applicants must possess the following:* \*Be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Hours would be either 2:00pm to 6:15pm each day, but if you are looking for more hours we can work with an 11:00am to 6:15pm daily schedule.
\*Be at least 18+ years old \*Prior experience working with young children is preferred (in a center or any other way, shape or form!) - Experience is not required, but it is helpful Prior to employment, all applicants must obtain a negative TB Test and pass a federal fingerprinting background check.
All employees are required to have current CPR and First Aid training, or be willing to obtain soon after hire.
All employees must be willing to attend staff meetings after hours and be willing to continue their education with trainings.
