We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Art Instructor/Floor Artist to join our team at Painting with a Twist in Rochester Hills.
As an Art Instructor, you will be responsible for leading engaging and energetic painting classes, guiding participants step by step through the creation of their artwork.
The role also involves setup and cleanup duties to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Art Instructor:
* Conduct step-by-step painting classes on stage, demonstrating techniques and providing guidance to participants.
* Infuse energy and enthusiasm into each class, creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere.
* Assist participants in developing their artistic skills while ensuring a fun and relaxed environment.
* Be knowledgeable about various painting styles and techniques to provide a diverse range of class experiences.
* Responsible for the setup and cleanup of painting materials, easels, and any other necessary equipment before and after each class.
* Ensure the studio space is organized and conducive to a creative and enjoyable experience for participants.
Floor Artist:
* Support the Art Instructor by walking the floor and engaging with guests during the class.
* Assist participants with any questions, concerns, or needs they may have, such as fixing their painting or providing additional painting supplies.
* Maintain a friendly and approachable demeanor, fostering a positive and encouraging environment for all participants.
* Monitor the overall atmosphere in the studio, addressing any issues promptly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.
* Responsible for setup and cleanup of the studio space, including organizing painting stations and ensuring cleanliness.
Qualifications:
* Artistic background and proficiency in various painting techniques.
* Energetic and engaging personality, capable of leading and entertaining a diverse group of participants.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to multitask and handle the setup and cleanup of the studio efficiently.
