Adult Education Tutor

*Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree or relevant experience (College students encouraged to apply) * Communicate clearly and concisely to students, both orally and in writing * Recognize variations in student backgrounds, abilities, and learning styles * Ability to work with College and Career Readiness standards and readings * Complete scoring rubric and assess understanding and comprehension *Responsibilities:* * Tutor adult students in ESL/English/Math and other subjects as needed * Create, maintain, and evaluate tutor packets * Testing data and report analysis * Interact in a friendly and patient manner with students of all levels of language proficiency * Other duties as assigned by the supervisor *Employment Information:* * Monday - Thursday, morning and evening shifts available * 8:30 am - 12:30 pm / 5:30 pm - 9:00 pm * 34 Weeks/Year * Based on program year and student needs Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.
