Our work environment includes * Growth opportunities Responsibilities: - Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans Must speak Spanish and English - Provide support to students with special needs in a classroom setting - Supervise and engage with children during preschool activities - Assist with childcare duties, including feeding, diapering, and ensuring a safe environment - Implement age-appropriate educational and developmental activities for toddlers - Support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment - Monitor and ensure the safety and well-being of all children - Collaborate with parents and communicate regularly about student progress Skills: - Experience working with children in a classroom or childcare setting - Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices - Familiarity with special education techniques and strategies - Ability to provide first aid and respond to emergencies - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and staff - Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment - Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
