Adjunct Faculty - Stage Makeup Instructor

JOB Henry Ford College presents an opportunity for an Adjunct Faculty member in the School of Liberal Arts.
The Theatre program is seeking makeup professionals to teach THEA-135: Introduction to Stage Makeup.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Earned BA or BFA from a regionally accredited institution in Theatre or a closely related field is required.
Earned MA/MFA as above preferred.
Experience designing and running makeup for stage and/or screen at the educational or professional level.
Previous experience with technical and cultural aspects of makeup/hair needs among the BIPOC community is highly valued.
Additionally, we are particularly interested in candidates who also have experience designing costume plots and working in costume shop environments, and we strongly welcome artists with experience and skill in cosplay, drag, and/or horror makeup subspecialties.
