We are growing in your area! We are seeking certified American Heart Association instructors to join our team.
We are looking for self-motivated, energetic individuals who can work and teach independently or as part of an instructor team to provide American Heart Association (AHA) training and potentially AHA Instructor training.
\*A candidate for this position must have access to all AHA materials and CPR, First Aid and Basic Life Support (BLS) equipment that adheres to the 2020 AHA Guidelines in order to be considered for this position.
An AHA Instructor must be able to:
* Lift and carry training equipment weighing 25-50 lbs;
* Accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction);
* Accurately deliver course content that adheres to the current AHA Guidelines to students;
* Operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training;
* Follow all policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for all team members and clients;
* Maintain the classroom and training equipment in a neat, clean, and organized way;
* Report to work on time and complete job tasks as assigned accurately and on time;
* Use good written and oral communication skills;
* Problem solve to support continuous improvement; and
* Maintain a positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
Available positions are flexible part time.
Instructors are able to teach four to eight hours per day from one to three days per week at various times of the day (morning, afternoon and evening class options) every day of the week.
Some instructors choose to teach only a few times per month, depending upon his or her availability.

AHA instructors who independently teach classes may apply to align with our AHA Training Center.
We provide instructor recertification, class support, and certification cards.
