Assistant Professor (Research) - Physics
Wayne State University is searching for an experienced Assistant Professor (Research) - Physics at its Detroit campus location.

Essential functions (job duties):
Teach Physics courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Participate in research activities in Experimental High Energy and Nuclear Physics.
Conduct research on the ALICE and STAR experiments at CERN and Brookhaven National Laboratory
Supervise graduate students in research, student thesis/dissertations in the group.
Present the results at conferences and publish in the major peer-reviewed journals.
Qualifications:
Ph.
D.
degree in Physics.
Research experience in the area of multiparticle production in high energy particle and/or nuclear Collisions.
A significant record of contributions to Experimental High Energy Physics and/or Relativistic Heavy Ion Physics.
