Substitute Teacher

Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic School is seeking Substitute Teachers.
Substitute Teachers support the mission of the school and consistently exercise discretion and judgment in providing support when teachers or aides are absent from school.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Providing coverage for absent teachers Working to ensure students are able to meet learning goals Delivering lesson plans as appropriate Supervising students throughout the school day Monitoring and maintaining regular class attendance Maintain a high level of confidentiality Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Principal QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 90 college credits, valid Michigan teaching certificate preferred Experience working with children in a school setting, preferred Ability to maintain a well-managed, positive learning environment Strong communication, interpersonal and computer skills Criminal history background check and Protecting God’s Children training required Interested persons please send information to Principal Mrs.
