Job Description Summary
Assistant/Associate Professor.
Human Resource Development in the Department of Organizational Leadership, School of Education and Human Services.
Responsibilities include teaching courses in the field of Human Resource Development in the following order of preference: 1) employment systems and standards with a focus on employment law and labor relations; 2) learning and development; 3) organizational development (including process & performance improvement); 4) career and leadership development.

Additional teaching of masters and doctorate courses.
The successful candidate will also contribute through active research and publishing, engage in graduate student advising, and institutional and professional service including departmental program coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
A terminal degree, such as a Ph.
D.
, Ed.
D.
, or J.
D.
, in a relevant field to Human Resource Development.
ABD may be considered with completed doctorate no later than August, 30, 2024.
Strong research interests in HRD or related fields to build toward a consistent record of scholarship.
Experience or commitment to diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service.
Prior experience teaching at the undergraduate or graduate level preferred.

The Department of Organizational Leadership is situated within the School of Education and Human Services.
The department offers one undergraduate program in Human Resource Development, a doctoral program in Organizational Leadership, seven Academic Programs and four Certificates, including a Graduate Certificate in Human Diversity Inclusion and Social Justice and a Certificate in Lean Leadership.
The department is also home to the Pawley Lean Institute, Ken Morris Center for the Study of Labor and Work, and the Galileo Institute for Teacher Leadership.
