Vintage 1970's K-mart box fan - $30 (Troy)

I never thought I'd be so proud to own something that said 'K-mart' on it.
This well built vintage box fan is solid and in great working condition.
The power cord is in good shape.
Was recently disassembled for cleaning and custom paint job.
The grills were painted navy blue, the inside of the case is black.
The knob and handle were painted black.
The screw heads white.
I left the robins egg blue on the outside of the case as is.
I would never paint over that.
The spin down time on the motor is around 30 seconds.
I oiled the motor even though it did not need it.
Compact design, only 16" wide.
Moves a lot of air.
They don't make them like this anymore.
Nowadays when I buy a fan, they are so cheaply made that they fall over from their own thrust.

The only reason I am selling it is because I don't need 4 fans.
