Who are we looking for:
We are looking for a highly motivated and qualified Assistant Property Manager! Your role is to create and maintain a 5-star guest experience for those staying with Easy Stay.
The Assistant Property Manager's duties and responsibilities include being the primary communicator with our guests (in-person, messaging, text, phone, etc); overseeing all check-in and turnovers between guests; assisting with any requests, feedback, and guest concerns; building & managing your cleaning and maintenance team to ensure the property is in peak condition for the stay.
The Assistant Property Manager role will also include assisting with the launch of new properties as we continue to grow & expand into new areas throughout Metro Detroit.
This person should be detail-oriented, have strong communication & organizational skills, and be a dependable team player.
The Assistant Property Manager should be an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Ultimately, this position should be able to ensure the smooth operations of Easy Stay and help to improve company procedures and day-to-day operations.
Please note that this position is classified as a 1099 independent contractor role, and does not include employee benefits or protections.
Responsibilities:
Management of assigned properties
Communicate and develop relationships with guests before, during, and after stay ENSURE 100% satisfaction!
Coordinate pickup/delivery of materials.
Assemble & manage a team of cleaners between turnovers, assisting with cleaning, and new units post-construction.
Field maintenance and repair calls, and frame out requests to the appropriate repair personnel.
Quality control visiting units before each check-in of new guests to ensure everything is PERFECT before check-in
Ordering of materials to replenish or supply units with items like laundry detergent, soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
Spearheading furnishing of units (purchase on Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Target, etc.
), replacing furniture where necessary in existing units.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in Hospitality or Property Management is highly preferred.
Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Independent self-starter, highly motivated.
Experience in service-based businesses, especially high-growth situations.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask, change gears quickly, and prioritize work.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
Have a working knowledge of G-Suite applications
Must have a Drivers License and clean driving record
Must have a working smart phone
Ability to pass a background test & drug screening
Compensation:
Full-Time
Base Salary + bonuses
Pay: $40,000 - $50,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
