MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is growing our outstanding team of therapy professionals! We are seeking a qualified individual to join as a Speech Language Pathologist at our neighborhood therapy center.
An ideal candidate will be fully licensed and available to work full-time.

* *About MetroEHS:* MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy provides services at our therapy centers across the Metro Detroit area as well as staffing services for Special Education and Healthcare facilities across the state.
Our unique strategy to assist others involves many therapy disciplines in one location, creating ease for caregivers of children that may need this approach to succeed.
Our services include ABA Therapy, Feeding/Swallowing Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy & Speech Therapy.
Affordable screenings for Speech-Language development, fine & gross motor development, sensory impairment and autism are also offered.
*Qualified Candidates Will Possess:* * ASHA CCCs * State of Michigan SLP Licensure *Essential Job Functions and Duties: * * On referral, provides a wide range of screening and diagnostic tests relative to communicative function specific to the areas of receptive language, expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and dysphagia.
* Develops a treatment program based upon the initial evaluation, including appropriate goals and objectives, and makes appropriate modifications in the program based upon the client's performance.
* Schedules and provides direct client treatment, utilizing appropriate therapeutic techniques.
* Instructs client and/or client's family or care giving staff in appropriate home program techniques.
Provides ongoing in-servicing and monitoring of therapeutic programs designed to develop, maintain, prevent regression, or improve language and speech functions, or to manage risks associated with dysphagia.
* Evaluates and facilitates the procurement of any needed equipment or supplies related to the client's treatment plan.
* Maintains clinical records pertinent to individual client treatment; completes required documentation in support of the clinical services provided, as required by MetroEHS.
* Coordinates the therapeutic plan with the physician, support staff, teaching staff and/or other appropriate personnel; communicates information regarding changes or modifications in the treatment plan, or changes in client status.
* Participates in client-specific conferences, or clinical conferences involving a variety of support team members as necessary regarding problems, progress, and ongoing needs of the client.

The remaining $2500 paid out with second pay period along with base salary.
* Two and a half year commitment; prorated payback if employee leaves company before their two and half year anniversary.
* Completed ASHA CF supervision course.
* Willing to be CF supervisor.
* Willing to take on grad students.
*$7,500 Sign on Bonus:* * Must have greater than 5 years of experience; Demonstrated evidence of at least 3 years of pediatric experience.
* Bonus paid over two consecutive pay periods, $3750 paid out first pay period along with base salary.
The remaining $3750 paid out with second pay period along with base salary.
* Two and a half year commitment; prorated payback if employee leaves company before their two and half year anniversary.
* Completed ASHA CF supervision course.
* Willing to be CF supervisor.
* Willing to take on grad students.
